As the company celebrates its 50-year anniversary, Tyler Cook became a managing partner of John E. Sestina and Company in 2016 through the completion of the firm’s succession plan.
With trust, confidence, and an ability to communicate with clients of all ages and backgrounds, Tyler helps clients implement the appropriate financial plan to meet their needs. Whether a client is just getting started in her career, a seasoned professional, or a retiree, Tyler works with them to establish and implement the appropriate financial plan.
Tyler joined the John E. Sestina Network of Fee-Only Financial Planning Professionals in 2004. He graduated from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Tyler continued his education through the College for Financial Planning, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Tyler serves on the NAPFA Midwest Board overseeing Academic Outreach. He first recognized his passion for financial planning while interning with John E. Sestina and Company throughout college.
“I believe the fee-only approach to financial planning is the best way to provide unbiased advice, and I think it’s the future of financial planning,” he said. “The best part of my job is building long-term relationships with clients as I help them accomplish their financial goals and achieve peace of mind.”
